Affordability

Some people may think it is expensive to live in an assisted living facility. Once you move into a facility, you do not have to worry about property taxes, home insurance, home maintenance, utilities (except telephone service), and reduced or no transportation costs. Staff is available 24 hours for assistance, and the peace of mind that comes with it is priceless.

Residents are encouraged to bring their own furnishings and re-create their own living area.

Assisted Living Facility

Rent at the Assisted Living Facility varies depending on the age of the units. Basic rent includes all the meals, housekeeping, laundry, all utilities (except telephone service), Direct TV, and transportation to local medical appointments. All units are private units with a living room, bedroom, bathroom and a walk-in-closet. For couples, the charge for the second person is minimal. Feel free to contact us for a quote.

There are additional charges for residents requiring additional care, such as: bathing, dressing, incontinence care, and assistance with medication management.

Memory Care Facility

Rent at the Memory Care Facility includes all personal care because of the necessary individual needs. There is an additional charge for incontinence care. All of the units at memory care are private units with private bathrooms. Feel free to contact us for a quote.

Insurance

Long term care insurance pays for assisted living services as long as you meet some criteria. If you or your spouse is a veteran and served in the military during war time, you may be eligible for additional pension if you live in an assisted living facility. Even though most of our residents are private pay, several of our residents pay with Long Term Care Insurance, and the Aid and Attendance Pension from the Veteran’s Administration. Medicare and Medi-Cal do not cover assisted living services.
